Quality of Life Changes for New Players

We have revised some variables to assist new players/new accounts better integrate and earn rewards.

  • "Discounted Fusions" given upon new account creation increased. These can be used for Level Up or Regular Skill fusion and reduces the Code/Element cost by 90%.
    • 50 -> 120
  • Low level player, code multiplier added
    • We won't disclose the rate, but players that are lower level will earn more code for a little bit as they progress through the level structure.
    • This will not apply to low level players who have rebirthed.

Bug Fixes

  • Bug Fix: Ban day messages sometimes displayed incorrect days left.
    • Fixed, shows correct days left.
  • Bug Fix: When purchasing Guild Boosters from the guild shop, if you do not have enough code, an error does not appear
    • Fixed, a message will show that you do not have enough code, and the cost required to purchase the Guild Booster.

User Shop

  • Maximum price for 9,999 element listing increased:
    • 25,000,000 -> 50,000,000
  • Maximum price for 100,000 element listing ("1234" method) increased:
    • 250,000,000 -> 500,000,000

Bug Fixes

  • Bug: Ultra++ and Ultra+ Premium tiers could only list 28 cards in the User Shop.
    • Fix: Ultra++ and Ultra+ Premium players can now list up to 40.
  • Bug: Prime Rate & Hot Time messages would sometimes double up, or fail to show properly when both were active.
    • Fix: If Hot Time is active, Prime Rates will not display rate modifiers.

Patch v329.12

Rates

  • New multiplayer modifier rates implemented
    • This has been active for a 1-2 weeks now, but the rates now reflect the real bonus received when playing with more players in a room.
  • Multiplayer Rate Bonuses
    • 1-4: +0% EXP, Code, Elements & +0% GP
    • 5: +8% EXP, Code, Elements & +8% GP
    • 6-7: +15% EXP, Code, Elements & +15% GP
    • 8: +15% EXP, Code, Elements & +20% GP
  • The decision to keep 6-8 player EXP, Code and Element rates the same is to ensure 6 player rooms are still rewarding when the server cannot support 8 player PVP rooms due to population constraints.

Misc.

  • Disabled the creation of rooms in the alternate Epic Channel GEN XI.
    • Rooms can only be opened there when Epic Channel GEN X crashes.

Patch v329.11

Rate Changes

The "Multiplayer" (rate for how many players were in a room) rate displayed when joining a room was nearly non-functioning. The rates displayed were very inaccurate. Because of this, we have decided to update this system.

We have added additional rates on-top of what was previously existing (not changing any of the old rate modifiers that may have been affected by player count in a room).

The new rates are as follows:

  • 1-4 Players: +0% Bonus
  • 5 Players: +8% EXP, Code, Elements & GP
  • 6-7 Players: +15% EXP, Code, Elements & GP
  • 8 Players: +15% EXP, Code, Elements & +20% GP

We intentionally designed 6, 7 and 8 player bonuses to be similar to better facilitate rates when player population is low. 6 Player games should now be more viable than before.

User Shop

  • Added minimum and maximum listing price for Elements (5,000-9,999 & 100,000)

Patch v329.11

User Shop

The ability to list more than 9,999 elements has arrived.

  • When listing elements, if you enter "1234" as the quantity, 100,000 elements will be listed.

  • When viewing the User Shop listings for Elements, elements listed at 1234 quantity will be the custom 100,000 amount.

  • When purchasing elements with a quantity of 1234, you will be purchasing 100,000 elements.

If requested by the player-base, we may expand this functionality for 200,000, 300,000 and beyond.

Enchantment Fusion

  • After using the Targeted Enchantment Fusion function, if you choose to use regular Enchantment Fusion, the fusion will fail and a message will show up warning you that you are switching away from Target Enchantment Fusion.
  • Redo the fusion attempt to bypass the warning.
    • This was added to help prevent accidental Regular Enchantment fusions after someone was intending to use Targeted Enchantment Fusion.
    • This message will only show if you attempt Regular Enchantment Fusion 2 minutes after Targeted Enchantment Fusion

EXP, Code and Element Rates

Previously, while Prime Rates (the system where certain hours of the day will have higher rates) was disabling itself, the rates would reset to something other than the intended (EXP, Code was higher, element was lower) default. We noticed this behavior with Hot Time and Hot Time Ultra as well, causing inconsistent rates between each of the rate modifiers.

We have completely fixed all these rate related issues and all of them should give their proper rate increases. The messages shown for the rate increases have all been confirmed to be accurate and up-to-date.

Prime Rates

Prime Rates was the most affected. The assumed "50%" increase in rates was actually only 12.5%.

  • Prime Rates will now increase rates by 30%.
    • Previously was 12.5%, now 30%.

Guild War

Guild Accolades

  • Guild Mission Mode, GP Reward: 35% -> 44%
  • Slayer Score, GP Reward: 30% -> 36%

Guild Points

  • Guild Points per Guild Member in a PVP Room:
    • When 3 players of the same guild play within the same room, Guild Point rates will be reduced to 88% of 100% for the guild
    • When 4 players of the same guild play within the same room, Guild Point rates will be reduced to 75% of 100% for the guild
  • This change was made to encourage more rooms being created with a minimum of 4 guilds participating in a room at the same time instead of 2 for GP farming
  • We anticipate being more aggressive with these rate changes to ensure stacking guild members into a PVP room is a non-competitive method of earning GP

Rate Changes

  • Mission Mode: +10% GP
  • Mission Mode: +10% EXP

Daily Challenge System (DCS)

  • For Challenge #1, we added back:
    • Teamplay Mode
    • Fight Club Mode
    • Survival Mode
    • Assault Mode
  • These were added back as a way to encourage more diverse modes of play without affecting Guild Points/Guild War

Misc.

  • PVP rooms with passwords such as Tournament, Teamplay and Fight Club will be capped at 2 players per room.

Patch v329.8

Guild Points

Due to increased Guild Point earnings from patch v329, we are reaching the upper limit of Guild Points (2,100,000,000) the game client can handle. Enchantments were recently fixed to stack more efficiently which has caused an increase in GP earnings.

In this patch, we have reduced Guild Point earnings globally by 1/4. Please note that this does not reduce your Guild Point earning potential as everyone is affected by this change, for example:

  • If Player A earned 100,000 points, they now earn 25,000 points.
  • If Player B earned 400,000 points, they now earn 100,000 points.

The change in Guild Point earning is simply cosmetic to ensure the game client does not have any issues adding and displaying Guild Points.

Existing GP

We will also be reducing all existing guild's scores by 1/4 to accurately scale to the new values.

GP Limits per Instance

Prior Guild Point earning per "instance" was set at 5,000,000 GP. This will remain the same, but due to the reduction in overall Guild Point earnings, the ceiling effectively has increased by 4x.

Trade Credits

We have removed all Trade Credit cards from everyone's inventory, gift log and User Shop listings. This was supposed to be removed a long time ago, but left over code still generated Trade Credit cards as a prize through various rewards structures.

For each Trade Credit a player owned, you will receive 10 cash as we remove the card from your inventory.

Bugs

  • Bug: Attempting to combine SS"E" cards to greater than 28 days, even when owning an SS"E" card greater than 28 days fails.
    • Fix: If you own an SS"E" card greater than 28 days, the combine function will work for SS"E" cards.
  • Bug: Players were able to sell "E" cards to the Game Shop (SS"E", Level 10 & Level 11 Cards)
    • Fix: Disabled this function entirely.
  • Bug: Some players were having issues logging into the channel due to IP addresses being corrupt.
    • Fix: IP corruption has been fixed and an internal check fixes this automatically.

Patch v329.6

Bugs

  • Bug: Daily Challenge System (DCS) challenges for #2 previously had a chance of generating the same challenges for both main and alternate challenges.
    • Fix: This has been fixed, #2 challenges will always be unique.
  • Bug: Disconnecting upon attempting to Gold-Force charge a level 10/11 card.
    • Fix: Gold Force Charging level 10 & 11 cards (equipment with 'E') no longer disconnects you.

Patch v329.5

Guilds

  • Guild Timeout Changed from 7 days to 5 days when leaving a guild
  • When joining a new guild, you will not have access to guild trophy rewards for 5 days

  • Added option 11 and 12
    • Ultra Crate: 345 Trophies
    • Loot Crate: 165 Trophies

Patch v329.4

Status

This patch is live.

Bug Fixes

  • Bug Fix: Guild Point bonus enchantments were only using the '1st' GP enchant to calculate the rate. This has been fixed and all enchants will stack.
    • Prior, if your enchant was GP-PVP 50% and GP-ALL 50%, you would only get a 1.5x bonus.
    • Now with that same example, you would get a 2.0 bonus (1.0 + 0.5 + 0.5).
  • Bug Fix: Guild Points were not properly distributed for player kills in certain game modes.

Patch v329.3

This patch goes live March 14, 5PM GMT-4.

Enchantments

  • Changed made to GP-ALL, PVP and PVE reverted
    • GP ALL Bonus Amount: Maximum that can be rolled increased from 65% -> 50%
    • GP PVP Bonus Amount: Maximum that can be rolled increased from 100% -> 80%
    • GP PVE Bonus Amount: Maximum that can be rolled increased from 100% -> 80%

New Enchantments

  • GP DCS: When following under DCS #2, increase Guild Point earnings
    • Chance: 1% - 100%
    • Bonus Amount: 1% - 35%
  • Scroll Refund: When using a scroll (QWE) such as Protection, with this enchantment equipped, there is a chance the scroll will not be consumed.
    • Chance: 1% - 20%
  • Element Drop (Water, Fire, Earth, Wind): Upon game completion, drop elements.
    • Chance: 0.01% - 3%
    • Amount: 1,000 - 15,000

Guild War

  • Limits per Instance of GP earnings raised from 3,000,000 to 5,000,000
    • The reason we keep this as a part of the game is due to the client's limitation with large numbers. In the event this causes a client issue, we will reduce overall Guild Point earnings universally to combat the inflated number.

Daily Mission System (DMS)

  • When actively playing server population is low, DMS rewards from PVE are increased.

Rates based on Game Mode

These rates are game mode specific.

Mission 300 (Includes Boss Raid & Guild Mission Mode)

  • DMS Cash Speed: 70% -> 50%

Quest

  • DMS Cash Speed: 120% -> 80%

Premium Event Card

  • Premium Event Card: Reduced scroll refund chance from 20% -> 10%

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed DMS earnings bug causing very low earnings.
  • Fixed scroll refund, now working 100%.

Daily Challenge System (DCS)

We have made the decision to alter DCS due to the stagnant nature of forcing ALL players to play the exact same load out. The new DCS system will better diversify gameplay, especially PVP.

  • DCS Objective #2 (1.2x EXP, CODE, ELEMENT, 2.0x GP), usually Equipment/Character
    • This objective will now generate individually/uniquely for each player.
  • DCS refresh times will remain at 1 hour and all DCS' (universal and individual) will refresh at the same time.

Refresh Command

As sometimes players will get stuck with unfavorable objectives, a DCS refresh command will be available to once per refresh (once per hour).

To use this command, use @dcs refresh.


New Premium Tier: Ultra+ & Ultra++

In the next patch, we will be adding 2 new tiers of Premium: Premium Ultra+ and Ultra++. We have heard many requests from players who are continually progressing with their Premium EXP for a new tier.

Super Silver 'E'

Super Silver 'E' cards will remain rechargeable, but the cost to recharge SS'E' has changed as well as the requirements.

Recharge Requirements & Cost

  • SS'E' can only be recharged with 365-day Silver Force.
  • SS'E' cards with less than 29 days of Premium cannot be recharged, we consider these non-force chargeable SS'E' cards.
  • SS'E' cards with 29 days of Premium or more can be force charged.
  • The cost for 365-Day SS'E' Force Charge is:
    • 237,600 Cash
    • 350 GEN Coins
    • 200,000 Micro Credits
    • 2,000,000,000 Code
    • 200,000 Elements of the SS'E' Type

These prices reflect the increase in availability of SS'E' cards through other means.

Drop Rates

Loot Crates and Ultra Crate drop tables have been altered with this in mind.

  • The chance to obtain an SS'E' from Loot Crate increased from 0.25% to 5.1%.
    • The chance to obtain an SS'E" that is rechargeable from Loot Crates is 0.1%.
  • The chance to obtain an SS'E' from the newly introduced Ultra Crate is 10%.
    • The chance to obtain an SS'E' from the newly introduced Ultra Crate that is rechargeable from Ultra Crates is 1.2%.
  • In the previous patch (v328), the drop rate for SS'E' was 0.1% from Loot Crates. There was no other way to obtain the card.

Lastly, 7 day SS'E' cards have been introduced to the GEN Coin store as temporary cards players can use.

Notes

  • Please note for players who currently own SS'E' cards that have less than 29 days of Premium, we will be extending your cards to 45 days to ensure you have the ability to force charge your cards.

  • Ultra Crates are being introduced as a premier version of the Loot Crate.
  • Ultra Crates can be accessed using the @ultracrate command.

Mythic Tokens

Mythic Tokens can be accessed using the @mt-info or @mythictoken command. Mythic Tokens can be obtained by Premium Users when completing DMS. Mythic tokens can be spent on the Mythic Token store where players can access level 12 equipment (usable in PVE and PVP).

Enchantment Fusion

New: 4th Enchantment

  • 4th Enchantment now available for ALL enchanted cards
  • The chance of naturally rolling a 4th enchantment on a card is 2%.

Enchantment: Limits Raised

  • GP ALL Bonus Amount: Maximum that can be rolled increased from 50% -> 65%
  • GP PVP Bonus Amount: Maximum that can be rolled increased from 80% -> 100%
  • GP PVE Bonus Amount: Maximum that can be rolled increased from 80% -> 100%

Targeted Enchantment Fusion

  • Enchantments can now be targeted to each slot
  • Each slot has a different cost:
    • Enchantment 1: 3 Enchantment Cards, 6,000,000 Code & 8,000 Elements per Fusion
    • Enchantment 2: 5 Enchantment Cards, 9,000,000 Code & 12,000 Elements per Fusion
    • Enchantment 3: 8 Enchantment Cards, 18,000,000 Code & 24,000 Elements per Fusion
    • Enchantment 4: 15 Enchantment Cards, 30,000,000 Code & 40,000 Elements per Fusion

When targeting an Enchantment Slot that does not have an existing Enchantment, the chance to generate a enchantment are as follows:

  • Enchantment 1: 65%
  • Enchantment 2: 27%
  • Enchantment 3: 6%
  • Enchantment 4: 2%
Command Usage
  • Command: @enchantment target <1-4>
    • Command usage: @enchantment target 2
    • A message in chat will be sent to confirm the command enabling.
    • This command will stay active until disabled, allowing you to continue to fuse repeatedly
    • This command will auto disable if you join a room, create a room, open the card shop, use card fusion other than Enchantment or disconnect from the channel. A message will be sent to confirm the command disabling.
  • Command: @enchantment target disable
    • Disables targeting of enchantment slot
  • Command @enchantment target help
    • Shows information for Enchantment Targeting.

  • PVE: GP Rate increased by +20%.

Guild Mission

  • Guild Mission: GP Rate increased by +10%

Global

  • GLOBAL: Element, Code and EXP rate increased by +4%.

PVP

  • Game duration multiplier increased for:
    • 20 second - 40 second PVP games
    • 40 second - 60 second PVP games

Rates based on Game Mode

  • Game Modes will now target specific resources. Players can choose from the diverse set of modes available to earn their desired resource.
  • All rates displayed are in relation to previous patch.
    • For example, if 50% is displayed, this means 50% of the rate of the previous patch (v328).
    • If 100% is displayed, this is neutral compared to v328.

Guild War

These changes are made to encourage guilds to recruit players from all around the world, incorporating them into their guild strategy to consistently earn Guild Points throughout the day.

Guild Decay

  • Guild Decay is a function in which if a guild has not actively played within each hour, a portion of their Guild Points decays.
  • Guild Decay requirements and parameters have changed:
    • Required Games to not decay: 25 -> 10
    • Required Games to earn 3 Guild Trophies (per hr): 80 -> 40
    • Playing Mission 300 or Quest mode will now count towards games played per hour

Low Server Population

  • When there are less than 12 players actively playing (in a PVP room, PVE room), the following changes occur:
    • Players can earn GP regardless of player count in PVP rooms
    • PVP games will count towards Guild Decay games played
  • Guild Point rate will scale up depending on how many players are actively playing

Guild Prizes

  • Requirement for weekly Guild Point contribution by the player decreased from 3% -> 2.75%
  • Prizes for Rank 1-5 have changed:
    • Ranks 1 to 5 will all include 75,000 Cash
  • Prizes calculated from the prize pool will never divide the pool by less than 10 -> 12 members.

Bug Fixes

  • Bug Fix: Soccer rooms now close when the game starts.
  • Bug Fix: Boss Raid repeat Micro Credit rewards were not distributing correctly, now they distribute to all players.
  • Bug Fix: Enchantments previously were not always stacking together properly, this has been fixed.
  • Bug Fix: GP Theft was not adding stolen Guild Points for the player who stole them, GP will now be added to thieves' guild when theft occurs.
