Guilds & Guild War

What is Guild War, and when does it occur?

The Guild War system is a weekly competition between guilds to earn the most amount of Guild Points.

  • Guild War starts on Sundays at 12:15am (00:15) server time.
  • At 11:00pm (23:00) on Saturdays, an announcement is made stating that the Guild War for the week will end at a random time within the next hour.

Pooled Rewards

The prize pool is divided by the amount of players in the guild by the end of the guild war and distributed to the guild's members.

Siege Placement (Rank) GEN Coins Loot Crates Cash Random Elements SP Card % SP Card Rerolls
1st Place 800 200 75,000 2,000,000 42% 1
2nd Place 600 120 75,000 1,000,000 39% 1
3rd Place 400 80 75,000 500,000 N/A N/A
4th Place 200 40 75,000 500,000 N/A N/A
5th Place 200 20 75,000 500,000 N/A N/A
6th, 7th & 8th Place 100 12 50,000 500,000 N/A N/A
9th & 10th Place 50 0 30,000 500,000 N/A N/A

Examples

Here is an example of how the prizes would be calculated for our example guild Alpha.

Alpha has 20 players in the Guild. At the end of this week, they are 2nd place in the Guild War.

Alpha's members will receive the following:

  • 6 Loot Crates (120 Loot Crates divided by 20 players), 30 GEN Coins (600 GEN Coins divided by 20 players)

Rules/Restrictions

  • Players must contribute at least 1.25% of the week's Guild Points to receive rewards.
  • Player accounts must be the main/primary account to receive rewards.
  • Prizes calculated from the prize pool will always round down, but will always give a minimum of 1.
  • Prizes calculated from the prize pool will never divide the pool by less than 12 members.
  • The guild must contain more than 5 players to earn pooled rewards.

FAQ

  • Will there still be a minimum GP contribution to receive a prize?
    • Yes. The minimum GP contribution percentage to receive the prize is 1.25%.
  • Will there still be tiered prizes for GP contribution percentage?
    • No. We will be removing the two tier system of prizes all-together in favor of the prize pool.
  • If a player does not meet minimum GP contribution, do they still divide up the prize pool?
    • Yes. If they are in the guild, they will divide up the prize pool.
    • For example, if the Alpha guild had 20 players, but only 18 qualified for the prizes, the pool would still be divided by 20.
  • What is your intention with this change?
    • Our intention with this change is to encourage guilds to be more competitive and encourage guilds to have a strategy for their guild recruitment.
    • We are also looking to make guilds a little smaller than they currently are to allow more competitive at for each of the ranks.
  • Will the prize table change?
    • It most likely will as we re-evaluate how the prizes are being distributed over the next coming weeks.

Guild Trophy System

Guild Trophies are rewards given to the guild per guild siege. Based on the ranking of a guild for a weekly guild siege, the guild will receive a certain amount of trophies.

Guild Bank System

Each guild has a bank where players contribute code and cash for the guild to purchase various upgrades, such as Guild Boosters.

  • The bank withdraws code and cash automatically from players as they play.
    • The Code is taken from earnings during gameplay, such as completing a game match.
    • The Cash is taken from your daily DMS cash earnings.
  • The guild can set Code contribution up to 6%.
  • The guild can set Cash contribution up to 3%
  • A player can additionally set their personal Code contribution up to 6% (for a maximum total of 12%).
  • Players cannot manually contribute to the guild bank. All contributions must be done through taking a percentage of earnings.
  • Players cannot withdraw from the guild bank for personal use.

Guild Leaders and Officers can use the bank's resources in the guild store.

Primary and Alternate Accounts

Primary accounts allow the specific account to access all features within the game. Alternate accounts can be used to complete DMS on a secondary account, as well as store extra cards.

  • Primary accounts will have access to 100% of Guild Point earnings.
  • Alternate accounts will only earn 10% of Guild Point earnings.

Primary accounts can be set once every 14 days. Alternate accounts will have a "lock" on their accounts, disabling the ability to set as primary until the 14 day session is cleared.

Hourly Guild Decay & Reward System

This system was to reward guilds who continue to provide gameplay for the server and compete and prevent 'staleness' in guild wars.

  • Per hour of server time (1PM to 2PM for example), guilds who complete more than 10 PVP/PVE games collectively will avoid losing Guild Points.
    • Guild Point penalty for not completing more than 10 PVP/PVE games is 0.75% of current GP, taken when the next hour starts.
  • If guilds complete more than 40 games for the hour collectively, the guild will earn 3 Guild Trophies.

To access information regarding this system, use the following command, accessible to all members of the guild:

  • @guild hourly

Examples

  • Player A opens a PVP room.
  • Player A ensures the room meets minimum requirements stated below.
  • Player B joins.
  • Player A and Player B are part of Guild A.
  • Player C & Player D joins and is part of Guild B.
  • They play a round of Teamplay.
  • Guild A and Guild B earn 2 PVP games completed.

Guild Accolades

The new Guild Accolades system is an achievement based system rewarded to guilds completing various achievements over the course of the Guild War.

In this patch, there will be 4 guild accolades guilds can compete for. Each of them will reward the guild with a multiplier towards their Guild Point score at the end of the Guild War.

The Guild Accolades will not display other guilds' progression, therefore guilds will not be able to compare their progression to other guilds. Only at the end of the Guild War will each guild know if they have won the accolade prize.

Accolade Rewards

These rewards are given to the guild for holding the accolade during the period (daily or weekly).

  • Daily Rewards
    • 30,000,000 Guild Bank Code per day
    • 300 Guild Bank Cash per day
    • For Mission 300 & Slayer Score Accolade: 5 Guild Trophies
    • For PVP Win/Loss & Monster Kills Accolade: 3 Guild Trophies
  • Weekly Rewards
    • 200,000,000 Guild Bank Code per day
    • 2,000 Guild Bank Cash per day
    • For Mission 300 & Slayer Score Accolade: 30 Guild Trophies
    • For PVP Win/Loss & Monster Kills Accolade: 20 Guild Trophies

Accolade List

The 3 accolades are as follows:

1. Guild Mission 300 Mode

 - How to Score: A new mode is being introduced called "Guild Mission Mode". In this special mode, every guild will start at level 1 and compete to earn the highest mission level before the guild war is complete.

 - Qualification to compete:
   - Must be playing the Guild Mission Mode <insert pic here for button> with guild members only.
   - Only 1 room can be open at a time

   - Players involved must be apart of a Top 5 guild (in the top 5 spots on the Guild Leaderboard)

Example

1. To give an example, let's imagine the 'Progress' guild has 1,000,000 GP nearing the end of the Guild War and the 'Slow' guild has 1,700,000 GP.

2. The Guild War ends, the 'Progress' guild also has the highest Guild Mission 300 level and earns the +80% GP. The 'Slow' guild has earned the Guild Slayer Score accolade this week and earns +60% GP.

3. The 'Progress' guild now has 1,800,000 GP (+80% from Guild Mission Accolade) and the 'Slow' guild now has 2,720,000 GP (+60% from the Slayer Score accolade). The 'Slow' guild wins.

4. All accolade scores will reset to 0 and the new Guild War begins.

Commands

  • @guild accolade - Shows your guild's current progression with Accolades via the Chat Box.

Guild Game Multiplier

This feature introduces a global Guild Point rate on a per guild basis. This rate can be increased by playing PVP or PVE games throughout the week. This was introduced to promote more gameplay throughout the week instead of at the end of the week.

  • The GGM rate applies to all Guild Points earned
  • GGM resets every week back to 0.2x
  • GGM can be increased up to 1.5x of the last day's GGM
    • For example: On Sunday, SuperGuild's GGM was 0.2. The maximum increase the GGM can receive is up to 0.3 (0.2 x 1.5)
    • On Monday, SuperGuild's GGM is 0.3. The maximum they can increase it to for Monday would be 0.45 (0.3 * 1.5)
  • Each PVP game increased the GGM by 0.0022x
  • Each PVE game increases the GGM by 0.0007x
  • The @guild mult command allows you to check information about your guild's GGM stats
    • The current Guild Game Multiplier (GGM) can be checked using the @guild mult command.
    • The maximum GGM per day (today & tomorrow) can also be checked using the @guild mult command.

Guild Win Streak

The Guild Win Streak system provides additional bonuses with an added challenge to guilds who win the Guild War many times in a row.

  • Prize Table
    • 1 Win Streak
      • +5% Increase in Loot Crate, GEN Coin & Cash from Guild Prize

  • Per Win Streak, earning Guild Points for the winning guild will decrease by 10% (-0.1), down to 0.2x.
    • For example, if your guild is on a 3 Win Streak, the GP rate multiplier for the guild will be 0.7.
  • If your guild loses a Guild War, the win streak is reset to 0.

Win Streak Break Rewards

  • When a guild wins the Guild War and ends another guild's win streak, bonus rewards are given to the winning guild.
  • Rewards:
    • 10% Bonus Loot Crates, GEN Coin and Cash per win streak
    • Up to a maximum bonus of 100%.
    • For example, if Guild A had 2 win streaks and Guild B wins the Guild War, Guild B will get an additional 20% GEN Coin, Loot Crate and Cash.

Guild Point rates based on Guild Members within a room

Number of Guild Members 4 Player Rooms 6 Player Rooms 8 Player Rooms
1 120% 120% 120%
2 100% 120% 120%
3 70% 100% 120%
4 33% 70% 100%
5 70% 70%
6 33% 45%
7 45%
8 33%
  • Using the table above, if 3 of 4 players within a room are in the same guild, the Guild Point earning rate is 70% (GP x 0.9).
  • For example: Cheeta earns 10,000 GP from a match. Cheeta is playing in a 4 player room with 3 of the 4 players being guild mates. Cheeta's 10,000 GP is reduced to 7,000 GP.
