Survival Project: GENERATIONS (SPGENS) Terms of Service (ToS)
By making an account and playing SPG you agree to the following terms of service.
If you are uncertain about something, have a question, or just need help, please contact a member of the staff. This is best done by visiting the discord page and checking at the right side which staff member is available. They can be messaged privately or you may post a message in one of the relevant discord channels. #help Discord Channel.
In addition, you may reach out to staff while in-game. Any user with a prefix of "GM-" or "CM-" before their user name is a staff member. Please be advised that staff members also like to partake in enjoying this game and that if you see one in-game, they might be involved in an active match. If that is the case, please do not spam them with messages, instead send them a direct message asking for help and wait a little for them to get back to you. Because of this, it is always best to reach out to them on discord.
Player Conduct and Interactions with Other Players In-Game, Discord, or Forum
All users found to be harassing others in-game or discord will be given a first warning by the staff. Subsequent incidents of harassment will lead to user temporarily losing chatting privileges in-game and on discord. If harassing still continues at a future date, the user will be permanently muted and/or have their account banned.
(Note: Harassment can be a difficult term to define. What constitutes harassment to one user, might be playful interaction for another. To bring some guidance, we here at SPG view repeated use of insults, profanity, and suggestive actions as signs of harassment. This can include a user constantly sending you whispers or messages in-game, always following you in-game and targeting you and only you, or repeatedly finding any small and petty means of decreasing your quality of gameplay).
Disrespecting Other Players
SPG will not tolerate anyone disrespecting other users. Since this can be seen as a form of harassment, it will be dealt with in the same manner. Some things that constitute disrespecting: calling other players profanities and racial slurs, belittling others, speaking unreasonably highly of oneself to put others down, acting insane, reacting unreasonably to others, and being hostile.
Any blatant disrespect to the staff can be grounds for a ban. Staff members are human beings just like you. While they aim to be of help to every user in this game, they too can be at fault, making errors and/or not being able to provide the level of help that they would have liked to or you would have expected. If you have an issue with another staff member, please contact the next higher up staff member to explain your situation.
Any user who is found actively harassing or partaking in defamation of a staff member or disregarding what a staff member says will be subject to punitive action, the severest of which will be a permanent ban.
Spamming in-game, on discord, and on the forums is strictly forbidden. Spamming is perceived as anyone posting too much information too fast, without an adequate reason for it. Spamming is also perceived as posting irrelevant responses that do not contribute to any discussion in any way. For example, anyone constantly making posts to brag or to get their idea across where one or two lines is sufficient, will be considered spamming. Additionally, not following the rules of the forum and discord, such as posting in the wrong sections will be perceived as spamming. Please see below for additional rules pertaining to discord and forum. Spammers will be warned. If spamming continues they will be temporarily and/or permanently muted.
Although it is okay to ask others for help or for some free in-game resources as a new player, it is forbidden and will be seen as spam when the user is doing this repeatedly. More so, if the user is ungrateful and feels entitled in anyway, they will be reprimanded by the staff. This will permanently stay on their unofficial record. Subsequent Terms of Service (ToS) violations will be considered with the reprimand in mind as the first offense applicable to any other category of ToS violation!
Gameplay Practices and Rules
Even though a player makes an account with SPG and has complete access to it, the account and its contents is ultimately the ownership of SPG and not the player. A user may not claim property of their account regardless of whether they have made donations on that account or not. Accounts and their contents are subject to deletion at staff's discretion and due to any unforeseen situation necessitating such action. No compensation will be given for any loss of account or individual items to any user affected.
Each user is allowed up to two (2) accounts on SPG. That's one main account and one alt/mule. Since each account receives daily rewards, it is our goal to curb users taking advantage of this by means of multiple accounts. If a user finds themselves in need of more accounts for item storage, they can make a written request to staff for an additional account beyond the two-account limit. This request will only be honored if the user has all their slots on each account completely opened up (slots can be purchased from shop for cash earned through daily log-ins or donations). If a third account is granted, this account will have its daily log-in rewards disabled.
While there is a two-account limit per user in SPG, sharing of accounts is an allowed practice. However, please be advised that if an account is found to be violating the ToS in any way and a punishment is in order, the defense of “it wasn't me, I was sharing my account" will not be taken with any credibility. The punishment will be done per account basis (culminating in IP ban if violations persist). For this reason, we advise against account sharing.
Item sharing is a popular practice in game, however, at times this can lead to scamming. As detailed in the scamming subsection of ToS, we cannot take any action in response to an alleged scams taking place.
In an attempt to make SPG a fun experience for all, there are ongoing scheduled and impromptu events occurring at various times. All event participations and outcomes are recorded and kept track of. All rulings and rewards established before the completion of the event are final. Should there be a misunderstanding or dissatisfaction with a reward, it must be discussed with the staff prior to the conclusion of the event. The following situations are not grounds for compensation of any kind: dissatisfaction with outcomes, missing the event due to personal scheduling conflicts, not being able to participate due to player limit quota, having server issues at the time of event (CoD, server down, etc.).
Any user being disruptive to the progress of an event or breaking the rules of the event, can be disqualified from the current and all future events at the discretion of the staff. Please understand that the process of coming up with events, as well as planning and executing them is difficult and it takes a great deal of time commitment. Keeping this in mind, please be respectful to those running the events, as well as your fellow participants!
Any user found exploiting the game's vulnerabilities will be punished accordingly. The punishments are non-specific and can include, but are not limited to: a warning, deduction of resources equal or greater in value to illegitimately obtained items, temporary account suspension, and permanent ban. If a user is caught assisting someone in exploitations they too will be subject to some degree of punishment. Lastly, knowingly trading with a user who exploited the game, will result in loss of the resources obtained as well as a possible temporary punishment. If you suspect something, report it!
AFKing/Idling in Game
It is absolutely prohibited to leave you character AFK (away from keyboard) in an active game mode, whether PVP or PVE. Since the game rewards are scaled up with more room participants, having people AFK in a room to increase rewards is not fair to others and is not allowed here. It is also no allowed to let your alternate/mule account hang in the room while you are playing for the same reason as previously mentioned. You are, however, allowed to remain AFK in community rooms and in the room selection lobby. Some players use this as means of accumulating elements in community room, albeit a very small amount. Any users found violating these rules will be warned. Subsequent violations will result in a ban.
Swapping/Trading Kills and/or Allowing Others to Kill You Repeatedly
While this is a gray area in many online games, in SPG it is strictly prohibited! Swapping/trading kills is defined as taking turns killing each other. Whether this practice is between two people or a room full of players killing each other in a specific order, this action is considered swapping and is not allowed. Also, repeatedly letting others kill your character while you are either observing the match or being AFK is forbidden. Playing with yourself on two accounts, for the purpose of boosting reward rates in quest or killing your alternate account for easy rewards in PVP modes is not allowed. Anyone violating these rules will be warned. Subsequent violations will result in a ban. Please note that you are allowed to be in the same community room with your main and alternate accounts for things like trading.
Scamming is a practice where one user takes advantage of another via means of deceit and ends up obtaining something from the scammed user (be it cash, ele, code, or items). Being a highly dishonest practice, we here at SPG look down greatly on scamming. However, should a scam occur, there is nothing that we can do to remediate the situation. It is difficult to prove who is right and who is lying, even with accurate records such as screenshots showing the situation. It is because of this that we highly advise all users to exercise caution when making trades with others. If a trade involves more than 4 cards and/or more ele than can fit in the trade window (9999 max per element), we advise getting a member of the staff to serve as a middleman to assist in completing your trade. Staff members include GM's and CM's. Please check discord for a list of active staff members and inquire if they can help you.
Players impersonating any member of the staff will be banned. It is the community's responsibility to bring such actions to light, so as to avoid any malicious intent of such impostors. Players impersonating other players will also be banned. Although it is possible to have similar names, which is allowed, attempting to convince others to be the user whose name the person is trying to copy is prohibited.
By making a donation to the server, you are willingly relinquishing ownership of the amount donated. The donation is not a transaction. Any benefits you receive in-game are a courtesy and a form of showing appreciation for your help.
VIP status may be rewarded to a user for donating a set amount to the server, upon which the user becomes a VIP for the lifetime of the game. Under no circumstances will VIP statuses be transferred from one account to another. If you wish to have another account have VIP status, another donation of appropriate amount must be made in the new account's name.
Players are allowed to trade, buy or sell their in-game assets with other players as they wish. Selling or buying in-game equipment for money ('RMT, Real Money Trading') is explicitly allowed on our services, but will not be covered or insured by SPGENS. Selling digital soft currencies (game money, such as Code, Cash or Avatar Coins) is strictly prohibited under our RMT policy. We assume zero liability regarding this form of trading and will not take action against any associated parties if problems arise.
Information & Confidentiality of SPGENS
Information relating to the operations, processes, plans, intentions, market opportunities, transactions, programming, server data and/or any information of other users, staff members and/or Game Masters shall be kept secret and confidential. Users shall not copy, use or disclose any such information to any third party, including but not limited to HanbitSoft and I.O. Entertainment. If User(s) is/are found to copy, use and/or disclose, and/or intended to copy, use and/or disclose any such information to any third party, SPGENS has the right to terminate all associated accounts following our Terms of Service and reserve the right to pursue any damages arise from such copy, use and/or disclosure.
Hiring Proxy Players
It is forbidden to hire another individual to play on your account as this translates to someone benefiting monetarily from SPG and is against our ToS. If found out, the account will be banned.
Cash Chargebacks / Refunds
You may not charge-back your PayPal or your Credit/Debit card after your donation has been processed. In the event that you do that, your account will be permanently banned.
Trading In-game Items for Cash Donations in the User's Name
While trading in-game items, code, elements, accounts for real life currency, crypto currency, or other games is forbidden, it is okay to trade game items and resources for in-game cash. One of the ways to trade for cash is to make a donation to the server in the user's name who will be offering an item/resources for the agreed upon amount. While this is okay and permissible in SPG, we frown upon such deals as they can be prone to scams and as such we are unable to take any actions should a scam take place. Please exercise caution when resorting to such means of trading and understand the risks.
If for any reason you need to report another player, please follow the following guidelines. Reasons for reporting: harassment, hacking, exploiting the game, violating the ToS in any other manner, or simply suspicious activity. How to report: you can make a public report on discord under the #report channel or you can make a discrete report by messaging directly one of the GMs on discord. Please be sure to include the reported player's in-game name (and discord name if known), a short description of what happened, approximate date and time, and if possible a screenshot(s) that shows the details of the report.
In an attempt to make the gameplay fair to everyone, the staff is always looking for any wrongdoing, exploiting, cheating of any kind. Any member being investigated is in no way guilty by virtue of being under an investigation. As part of a routine check, the staff might look into anyone's account and their dealings to make sure no cheating has taken place. Refusal to assist staff in their investigation will be perceived as a sign of guilt. While privacy is important, the goal of the investigation is not to encroach on it but to simply get the story right. However, at times where foul play is suspected, to the smallest degree possible, privacy will be compromised in lieu of the investigation. Please remember, compliance will only speed up the process and will lead to clearing up the situation sooner. Thank you for your understanding.
Compensations for Unsatisfactory Gameplay
Although we strive to make every player's gameplay fun and fair, we here make no statement of guarantee that a player will have a satisfactory gameplay. Since satisfaction is subjective and SP is a random number heavy game, it is very likely that some users might experience better game outcomes than others. With that in mind, no compensations will be provided to anyone under any circumstances involving dissatisfaction with the game. This includes, but is not limited to, some examples that follow: failing item upgrades, not getting the desired skill, gaining amount of code/point/eles deemed too little, matches taking too long, deeming a completed trade with another player as unfair after the trade is completed, etc.
Compensation for Inactivity
If a player is inactive due to their own reasons, no extension will be given to cash items that have a timed duration (such as Gold Force, Super Silver, etc.). In the rare situation that a server goes down for a duration exceeding 1 day (24 hours), global compensation might be provided to every user which may or may not include extended cash item durations by the time lost.
Compensations for Misunderstanding or Failing to Read the Custom Features
In the event that a user fails to read the custom features page or has a misunderstanding and takes actions that lead to undesirable outcome, no compensations will be made. Please be sure to look over the list and if you are uncertain of anything, ask one of the staff members for clarification before proceeding with the action.
Compensations for Bugs/Glitches/Miscellaneous Inconveniences
While this is an old game, it is by no means free from bugs and glitches, especially given the ongoing development to bring about quality of life changes. Many attempts at improving this game and fixing issues are made on daily to weekly basis. However, some issues still persist, while others will emerge at later time. We here at SPG make every attempt to warn the users of any bugs to minimize any losses and prevent unpleasant experiences, while they are worked on. With this in mind, we are operating on an “as is" basis: no compensations will be given on individual basis for anyone affected by any bugs or glitches. If you see or suspect an issue, please report it to us. Do not keep trying at the glitch expecting to be compensated later!
Compensations for Accidental Purchases
No user shall receive any compensation or rollback due to accidental purchases from cash shop, GEN coin redemption, item skilling, or trade with other users. Please be cautious when making any transitions.
Compensations for Getting Scammed or Hacked
As mentioned in their respective sections above, no form of compensation will be made to any user who is scammed or hacked. It is the user's sole responsibility to exercise caution and avoid risky practices which could lead to getting scammed or hacked.

In attempts to keep this aging game a bit more relevant in the modern world, we are constantly trying to push the envelope in bringing new features despite the limited possibilities and strict constraints. Due to client limitations, some of these custom features are not reflected in the client. Please [click here] (https://www.spgenerations.com/?page=features) to read the list of custom features found on this server and familiarize yourself with any discrepancies from what is seen in the game client.
SPG is only as strong as its community. Please feel free to reach out to any staff member with any suggestions you may have, any observations about the game that you think might be important, or any ToS violations that you notice. Additionally, we encourage you to partake in our discord community and our forums where users come to talk casually about the game, get helpful tips, make trades, find PVP partners, help with technical difficulties, or to simply chill.
Under no circumstances may you use SPG and its associated discord or forum for any form of advertising. Should a user do this, they will be temporarily muted. Subsequent violations of this rule will result in a permanent ban. If you have a desire to share something of yours that may be seen as advertisement, please contact the staff first. On case by case basis, advertising might be allowed.
Other Survival Project Servers
We here at SPG have no stake in any other Survival Project private servers. As such, we cannot offer any technical help or any input on the status of any other server. If you are a member on another server and there are issues with that server or you have any inquiries, please take them to the staff members in charge of that server. In addition, while we do not forbid talking about other servers, obvious advertisements and attempts to recruit and sway players to another server will be met with a ban.
(If you are a player or a staff member of another server and wish to play on this server, you are more than welcome to be part of our community. However, if you have some reason which might be beneficial to recruit players to your server, e.g., language differences, then please contact the staff here to discuss the matter. Do not advertise publicly on SPG. Thank you.)
Cease and Desist
In the event that a Cease and Desist order is issued, SPG reserves the right to shut down the server completely and stop service indefinitely. Should this happen, players are reminded that the accounts and their contents are property of SPG and no compensation will be given to the players. All donations made to SPG are donations and not transactions and thus will not be refunded!
All rights to Survival Project belong to HanbitSoft and I.O. Entertainment. SPG is in no way associated with or endorsed by these parties. All characters, items, game modes, interfaces, and other client details are the intellectual property of the aforementioned parties. All server data was written and developed by Qwahchees and remains their property. In the event of Cease & Desist order or any other legal action, only the game client is a suitable target therein. The server code remains property of Qwahchees and is not subject to legal actions by any party in the same manner as the client.
The staff members at SPG are volunteers and receive no form of financial compensation for their actions.
